1st and 2nd class made their own unique Brigid’s crosses on St. Brigid’s day. They used pipe cleaners which sparked a discussion amongst the children. The conclusion…… pipe cleaners are more effective and less messy and, apparently, if St. Brigid was around today she would use them too!
